Swift Biosciences is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Scientist
Description: Molecular biologist, biochemist or biophysicist. Must be proficient in nucleic acid experimentation, with special consideration given to experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) experimentation and analysis. Above all, we are interested in problem solvers who are able to work outside of existing protocols and innovators with a track record of technology development.
Requirements: Will consider either doctoral or postdoctoral scientists. Start-up, mid-biotech industry experience a plus.
Applications Scientist
Description: This position is responsible for the scientific and technical support for Swift’s products. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Provide technical assistance to customers. Assist with product launches. Develop and produce manuals, application notes, publications, technical copy, posters, and promotional materials. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the life science market, trends, competitors and their products, and technologies that are complimentary to or compete with Swift’s products. Participate in project teams.

Requirements:
- Previous applications support experience in the life sciences highly desirable. Previous experience in a start-up or small life science supply company is also desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and manage projects
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
PhD in the life sciences, preferably molecular biology or biochemistry. Must be proficient in nucleic acid experimentation, especially qPCR. Special consideration given to familiarity and/or experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) experimentation and analysis.
